30 mm

Just received my Leupold VX 3i 2.5-8 x 36. After a few months on this board and Marlin Owners I see few if any references to a 30mm 0ptic. This prompts my question, do any of you have a 30mm atop your Henry?

Not I but I recently shot a Henry BBS with a 1.5 - 30MM scope on it and really liked it!
I am planning to put a 30 MM scope on my Ruger PCC once I get the scope issues worked out with the 1" I currently have on it.

I don't. I have a Vortex x24 on my .30-30 and Leupold x40 on my Long Ranger. I like them both.

Your talking tube size?
I have two Mueller 30mm tube scopes, 8-32x44. I use them for long-range 200 - 600 meters.
Kind of big for most Henry's but I'd put one on a Long Ranger for sure.

I have a couple 30mm tubes for close range use on crossbows. ;) A Vortex Viper XBR on my Excalibur Matrix 380 and a Hawk XB30 on my Excalibur Micro Suppressor. I like how 'bright' the scopes are in low light conditions.

Yes, 30mm tube. Case closed, I'll just install the Leupold.
Thanks gentlemen,

Would love to see a pic of it once you get it mounted. Sounds like a nice optic!

Regarding photos, which sight is preferred by most here? I haven't posted photo in a couple years, I used Hunt 101, which is out of commission, maybe forever.
