Since we moved in we have had a falcon that comes around our house. She's been on our garage, our fence, in the tree in front of the house. She likes to eat over our house, and often makes a feather mess in our yard.
One day she left wings and a spine all attached on my windshield, and today she left an entire beak on my front walk. This has been going on for 10years now.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

Glad you get to watch the bird. The ‘gifts’ are funny. Like having a cat. Get a pic sometime, I’d like to see it. Thanks

We had a cardinal decide he hated the cardinal in the mirrored film on the bay window overlooking the deck. He would land on the pop up canopy over the hot tub first thing in the morning, then spend all day attacking the cardinal in the mirror.
That was REALLY annoying... But nothing worked to stop it, until I taped brown paper over the glass until he lost interest and left. Cardinals are a protected species in VA so pellet gun wasn't a solution. It wasn't a light tapping either, he was slamming into the glass.
I feel your pain.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

We've had a Cooper's Hawk nesting in our property, this year. It's also a hawk that specializes in grabbing small birds in flight for its dinner.

Awhile ago , a red tail hawk had a baby robin cornered in my back yard both on the ground. Every time the hawk would make a move, the baby would fluff up his feathers. Seem to confuse the hawk and he would stop. Momma was buzzing him also during this time. I wanted to interfere but the hawk has got to eat. So I just let it play out. Hawk gave up and flew away. Mom landed and hurried the chick into the bushes.

Found this a while ago on our front lawn, not sure if it's a wing or tail feather.
