Re: Christmas Tree's
interesting assortment of ornaments ... impressive lighting .... looking forward to seeing additional decorated trees
Re: Christmas Tree's
You've started this year's "crop" of Christmas trees with a very nice and colorfully-deco'd tree, RR. Glad you started this thread and looking forward to other folks' pictures. Following is mine in the new home I'm living in. I just put it out this weekend.
My daughter got me an artificial white flock tree which has always been a favorite of mine but rarely had one in our home. It is 32" high and sets on the corner of my computer table with the lights centered and visible through my front-of-the-house window. Haven't gotten any ornaments out yet but do have two pooches under the tree. One is my favorite dog of all time, Snoopy.
The other little fellow is named Boofle. He is made out of yarn and is very soft to hold. One year it was a special gift I gave to my wife ....she loved all kind of cuddly animals and could cover the bed with her menagerie. So here is my entry into this year's "tree farm" collection.

Re: Christmas Tree's
Went all out this year!! Just kidding, I'm a bachelor and a bit of Grinch, also have cats so I don't do indoor decorations, they wouldn't last long around Leroy. I saw this tree at Lowes, kind of reminded me of the one in Charlie Brown's Christmas. Tree is on my back porch out of kitty's harms way.
This thread reminded me of my Santa's made by my sister-in-law and niece. Haven't had them out of their box for awhile. I'll have to clear off a cat proof shelf for them. Ranch Roper should like the middle one.
I'll have to see if I can find my life-size hanging from the gutter Santa, it's somewhere in my garage.

The family tree has our keepsake ornaments, and those that represent our tastes.

Re: Christmas Tree's
Early on in this thread I showed the 2' white flock tree my daughter got for me this year. Last evening she put up her new 7' pine Christmas tree and did a beautiful job decorating it. Well, at least 1/2 way. The lower portion of the tree only has the white lights on it because our new family member, Winkie, likes to kitten-play.
I decided to share a final photo of another tree my daughter set up for me in the basement next to my gun cleaning bench. I'm a life-long fan of Charles Schultz's "Peanuts" with my favorite character being Snoopy. Although Snoopy is not the main feature of this tree, the tree itself is my favorite one in the house. I'm certain a lot of you have seen the animated Christmas program featuring Charlie Brown and this tree. If I had decided (or asked myself) to get a new revolver or BP pistol as a holiday gift, it would have fit perfectly under this small, gorgeous tree!
