Giant Spider Web

Found this in my front yard this morning. Welcome to SW Florida. Web was over 6 feet in diameter. I don't think I want to know what made it.

See some a lot like that, although not quite as large in the summer months at our cabin...yuk! I have seen the builders though and the locals call them Halloween spiders. About the size of a silver dollar...I'll deal with even a snake over a large spider!

The smaller the spider, the more dangerous.

Yeah, well judging from the size of that web it looks like that spider is trying to trap birds, squirrels, and small children.

Just watched the "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy over the past two days... That was one giant spider. The only one that compared was the one at the end of "IT" and it wasn't as well done. :)
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

That wouldn't have worked here...

At least not for long.
