My cursive is cursed. I am probably the only one who can read it.
Geez, Ern, didn't know you were a doctor. ;)

I have been told that a handwritten letter is often the sign of respect.

I have to agree. Since high school and typing class, I felt the handwritten letter on nice paper was the sincerest form of respect in correspondence. I keep some good paper at home. Cursive should be able to be read. In college my handwriting became much better and good habits were formed. Now I understand many cannot read cursive as it's not taught.

Teach the young lad cursive. It will be a skill others don't have.

My mom made me practice, practice, practice! She's a stickler for neat writing. I'm left handed, and have been told numerous times I have nice writing. With that being said, the manly man will learn "cursed writing". Whether he likes it or not.

Yes, he seems to be developing into a nice young man. May God bless his comings and goings.
