Question --- is synthetic motor oil flammable like regular old motor oil ?

Does synthetic oil burn like conventional oil?

Regular oil starts to burn between 350 - 450 degrees F, While synthetic oil can continue to function at over 500 degrees. Sometimes piston/ring temperatures can rise to over 500 degrees under loads.

interesting info ... thanks .... in short it will burn but ignites at a much higher temp

the best part of synthetic is that the viscosity never changes with temperature. Sme at 0 or 100 degrees. Best for winter starts.
