I bought my first set of tools in 1976, a six pack of Craftsman open end wrenches. My father got so mad...He didn't like it that I didn't need his help as much. Dad didn't like that his six kids were all growing up on him.

Still have them and the tool box. Tools look good as new but the tool box shows its age. Bought a few specialty tools from snap on truck from time to time. Luckily all the moving I've done thru the years, I haven't lost many tools.
