Sure do. I have 4 of them hanging on the corners of my shop for the past 10years or so. Different design, but many designs work well as long as the holes are drilled properly. I empty them every winter. :)

Might have to try those. We had some carpenter bees set up a nest in the dog runlets summer and our poor dogs were getting bitten something awful. We finally cleaned out the nest, but it was a lot of work. Think I'll get some of those traps, this year.

I tend to believe they work best after the wood ages a bit

I put the price stickers on all my exposed wood and they don't come around anymore!

I got 15 Tuesday after I mowed the lawn. Noticed there were a lot of them hanging around the back side of my garage. I am glad I shoot a little more accurate than swinging a badminton racket. Multiple swings on many to connect. I am glad I had exposed wood on my garage covered with metal years ago. I don't believe I have a drill bit that will drill a neater hole than the bees.

simply an observation .... I'm becoming more and more convinced that carpenter bees have a stronger attraction to traps made out of old wood .... none in the new traps but a growing pile in the old one

Another observation: I have four traps on my carport. The only two they are going in are the ones in the front, which are in the sun. None in the shaded ones.
