I will stick with RAT-X as I’ve used it for decades. Most people do not like the fact a dead rat is in your attic/walls/crawl space but if you examine the dead rat it’s just a dried up rat that has no odor.
TOM CAT on the other hand is a poison that kills the rat and leaves it to rot. The TC killed rat if eaten will poison that animal. X is not a poison and only effects rats stomachs. It is used in food processing plants.
Almost every home in the neighborhood has rat control service. This is a major problem in the area.

Re: Rats!
It’s been a little more than a month and I can now report no rats. I don’t think I ever had rats but instead mice. It took a long time and multiple feedings to finally kill the mice. Little Girl has not stalked the suspect area in several days.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: Rats!
This is what I did. For mice, Rats you will to bigger. Mice- get a piece of 1 1/2 in plastic pipe. 1- 1 1/2 tee, 1- 1 1/2 cap, 12 in 8x32 threaded rod, nuts and washers 8x32, rat and mouse poison blocks. Cut 2 pcs of pipe, 3in long, cut 1 piece 12 in ling. No glue needed. Put the short pices in the tee. Put the long piece in the top of the tee. Drill a hole in the cap. Put the rod in the hole, put on a washer and nit. Put the poison blocks on the rod, put a washer and not on the rod. Put the rod into the long pipe. As the rats/mice/voles eat the blocks from the bottom, they will slide down the rod. Put a stake in the ground, tie the pipes to the stake.
