No horses but Badger would have a place to stay.dave77 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 5:29 pmWould you be keeping horses if you get this property? You really only need 1 horse if you get a couple of goats to keep it company.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 4:50 pmThis looks promising. Gene did you ever meet with a realtor in your area? Just curious what they told you. Probably hard to put it on the market when you are in limbo trying to find a house in Montana

Actions speak louder than words (Matthew 7:16-20).

Hey All,
I'd be wondering just what the backstop is if that is a shooting bench
It is clearer in pic 7.
Helena is near half half liberal conservative. But a nice plus to Helena is - if you have a metal detector - you could get rich! Last chance gulch produced a lot of gold and there is gold in that country.
Great falls is not a bad area - my cousin lives there - she was in Havre an my dad lived in both Conrad and Shelby before he passed.
Montana is my home state too - one side of my family goes back to the early 1900s the other to the late 1800s. At one time or another I had relatives all over the state except the Dillon country.
I'll ask you a question. Since you went to grade school in Montana grades 1 to 4 and we are likely near the same age - certainly by grade two or 3 you like me probably stood beside your desk hand over heart and recited the pledge of allegiance and then what did you do? As I understand it what you did next was common throughout the state back then. I can assure you it commonly created a loyalty to Montana stronger than any loyalty to some lesser state
.
That said have you looked around Kalispell?

Hey All,
Ok I apologize sounds like you were from somewhere near St Ignatius. Was your school catholic? My hometown is red lodge not far from the crow indian reservation. In Red Lodge my best friend went to the Catholic school while I went to the public school. In the public school every school day first through 6th grades we recited the pledge of allegiance followed by the whole class singing the chorus to the Montana state song. Like in this video:
https://youtu.be/gxqXOBka3-Y
The chorus
Montana, Montana, Glory of the West
Of all the states from coast to coast, You're easily the best
Montana, Montana, Where skies are always blue
M-O-N-T-A-N-A
Montana I love you!
Singing this every school day grade 1 through 6. Coupled with family history this song creates a loyalty to Montana easily surpassing loyalties by Texans to Texas. So it don't matter where I am I know my roots.
Maybe this wasn't done in other schools an I'll have to check with my friend if it happened in Catholic schools.
I hope you find the perfect place.

Hey All,
No need to be offended none was intended - point is a Texan's pride in Texas is in no way superior to a montanan's pride in Montana or anyone else's pride in where they are from. My brother-in-law an I an my other brother so round an round about this in a good natured way. My brother-in-law an sister are retired USAF near Fredericksburg. Both retired as Lt colonels. His family has been in Texas for generations. We don't talk about the real history of the Alamo though.
Maybe sir Henry should look at Texas?

Re: Home Search Continues
Right now the market is stagnant. Not a lot of offers like one month ago. Realtors are telling me to list now and barely get six months ago price. I’m waiting. It costs me $1,800 a month to live here.
I don’t have to sell. I’ll wait the market out.
