A couple of years ago the Pup and I toured the only commercial tea plantation in the US. It's just a little south of us on one of the barrier islands. Very interesting to see how they grow and harvest it. All tea is the same species, camellia sinensis. Yes it is a camellia plant. The only difference between the different varieties, is where it is grown and how it is processed. Most places it is grown has cheap labor, so it is picked by hand. Here they have a one of a kind harvester to "pick" the leaves they then mechanically separate the stems. The only difference between green, oolong and black tea is how long it is allowed to oxidize.

Not exactly a quick draw with the retaining strap thru the cup handle but should work well enough. :lol:
