That's awesome Gene. Congrats on the new setup! I'm guessing Tims hill helps with your reception.
It helps with FM but not AM. TV doesn’t come in very good with an indoor antenna. I ordered an indoor/outdoor TV antenna but it won’t be here for a week. What I really need is an outdoor one and up 50 feet. TV is straight line but FM will bend with the earth plus it will bounce off the atmosphere. At least that is what I’m learning. I’m reading forums and watching utube videos. I figure I have till fall to figure out how to get the Packers on the TV.
Hope you get the 50' mast. Never know; might also be beneficial if SHF! :D 🤷
Naw, SHF is point to point microwave territory, 3 - 30 GHZ. ;)

Love the blue and orange/red hues in the lights on that classic receiver.

New LED lights and new capacitors so it not only looks good but sounds good too. Rebuilt they sell for 2 to 3 times what they sold for new.

I have a new T-dipole antenna on a Marantz 2215 upstairs and there is a world of difference upstairs compared to downstairs. It’s not just the elevation but also the lack of refrigerator, washer & dryer and other appliances.

Antenna placement is critical. Stations come in better in one place and then worse with the antenna moved just a few inches. It will be trial and error figuring out what stations I want to listen too. Currently listening to Brewer games has the most importance. They just beat the Cards in a nail biter.

I’m still shopping for a turntable but have now switched my search to CD players. This one is a little rich for my blood but it does prove CD’s can be high quality.

I bought this used Technics SL-MC4 CD Changer. It holds 60+1 CD’s.

I’m amazed at the sound quality. It matches my Marantz receiver and speakers in performance.

That's a lot of CD's at one time. I'd forget which ones I had stored in it!

I have an excel spreadsheet and I can program the info in the player to remind me. Newer players can display the information automatically.

Back in the early 2k, Marantz did a home theater receiver for outlaw audio. I jonesed over it for better part of a decade. It, the amp, and their sub were never in my cards.

I did eventually find my dream set of Aperion Audio 500 series speakers in piano black. When I moved to VA i saw a craigslist ad forAperion audio 600 series speakers, I snagged them. I sat down with the sub commander and his wife oogling at their new Aperion Audio Verus speakers. He opened the cabinet and showed me the full outlaw suite of 7 separate 200 watt amps.

One day... right now i have two sets of my dream speakers powered by Onyko TX receivers. The newer model is paired with my Oppo 203

I bought a set of ADS L710 speakers to replace my Marantz 25/250’s. They sound great especially the low tones. They are a tad smaller but weigh a lot more. The Marantz 2230 is a perfect match to power them.

I need to get some speakers stands to get them off the ground.

The 25/250’s are now upstairs and powered by a Marantz 2210. Under them are some Realistic by Radio Shack.
