powered parachute

Post by Ernie » Fri Jul 22, 2022 5:47 pm

I took instruction and rented one about 40 years ago when I found out about them. Loved it. Like riding a go cart way up over the treetops at 25-30 mph. Always thought I wanted to get one but had no place to fly from. Today I found there is a strip and dealer about 10 miles from my home and I am debating with myself about checking it out. Too many idiots on the road these days for me to enjoy the motorcycle so maybe I will leave them on the ground and take my riding upstairs. I may have to price out some pre-owned units.

I just told my parents i've given up on getting a motor cycle and decided to take this up. It should be good for a laugh.

I would guess they were at a loss for words. I told my sister and she had been hoping I had outgrown that urge. NOPE :D
