We had some great horses over the years.... and Miss Tina trained them all.
Moonshine (Dancin Moonshine, the girls named her..) was a beauty. Spirited.
Tina got her young and had her very well trained.
Skipper's Pollyanna, Polly. Tina is getting her used to the saddle in this pic. She had her dead broken in six months. What she called "Push Button."
Dots was a Leopard Appaloosa, a beauty. The owner was boarding the horse with Tina and got into some trouble. He GAVE Tina his horse and his Rottweiler. Both were great animals. His wife tried to sue Tina to get the animals from her. (They were separated.) The Judge told the ex she could claim them both and take them back if she paid the value of both animals and board and training for both for the year Tina had been in possession. She declined.
THIS horse Tina Didn't Own... but rode for the owner in various shows. A gaited Tennessee Walker, Tina won nearly every class she entered. A beautiful horse, and with Tina up, couldn't lose... unless the Judge didn't like gaited horses.
Casper was a Welch Pony, and would do anything the girls asked. They rode him bareback without a halter, Headstall, or reins. They'd jump on, bareback, and guide him with their knees and hold onto his mane. He would also pull a cart. They drove him in the Christmas Parade each year.
The youngest daughter, Stefanie, on the left. That's Jess, on the right.
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
