New rubber on the Jeep...

Post by RanchRoper » Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:12 pm

Took the BFG KM2 mud tires off and put snow rated Falken Wildpeak AT3W's on. Went from 32" to 33" too. Biggest I can go with no lift or spacers. Rides nicer, and gave me almost a foot of ground clearance now.

Did you or will you be able to sell the BFG's? Looked at them on Tirerack and they're a pretty spendy tire.

That is what a Jeep should look like. One of the best looking ones I have seen. I like plain looking vehicles with none of the fancy looking junk a lot of vehicles have on them.

love the look .... you most certainly live in an area that needs tires to be designed to deal with snow .... did the size change have any impact on your speedometer accuracy .. :?:

Good looking rig Roper. As stated above a nice clean simple look.

My wife and I are considering getting a Jeep for easy towing behind the motor home. Probably next spring.

Those are great tires RR. I have a set on my 98 4Runner and love them. They ride really quiet on pavement, yet they have the traction when you need it. Good looking tread pattern to boot. The same tires are going on my newer 4Runner when it needs new rubber...congratulations.
