I can take them places I won't take the pickup, and the insurance is loads cheaper. The gas mileage is huge, and we find the really convenient. They tax actual vehicles differently than a utv, seeing it as a farm vehicle, like a tractor.

I have to agree with 220. We have one and I am finding handy things to do with it. There hasn't been much I couldn't have done before, except go just about anywhere, anytime. They are fun and I do like it.
Good luck with the trade in process Marine. I hope you get a new one.

We did end up making the trade. As the projected repairs on the 2017 crept past $5,000 and the offer for the trade in value was Half of what we paid three years ago, we said, "Shake!" ;) This time we got the Crew cab version. I could have bought a cheap car for the cost, but it wouldn't have done the job we needed... and we don't spend that much money. Other than the house, this will be our only debt for the next three years if we don't pay it off early, which is likely. We got the lowest interest rate they offer other than for mortgages. :)

The premium level trim does not have the tip out windshield, the stereo system, nor the Ride Commander information screen with GPS, Weather and all that. That upgrade is more than $4,000 and I wouldn't use much of it. (ANY?) I am happy with the level we grabbed. Heat/AC Manual roll down windows.

The interior is decent, but not as fancy as the upgraded version with power windows and the other....

Around here those are used mainly for joy rides around the neighborhood, and walking the dog.

We looked at the Razor... Built for speed and stupid pet tricks. Not what we needed, but cool looking. Probably would have been fun, but not very practical for the farm. 😙

Tina buys ten to twenty bags of feed, then takes it down to the coop and the barns in the UTV. It can get under the overhangs, the trucks can't, plus the UTV fits down the tracks thru the woods to the lower barn easier. And as I said, no way we could run the fence lines in either truck.
