Limousine Headquarters: fun on the road

Post by Sir Henry » Sun Feb 12, 2023 9:27 am

I just returned from a 670 one way trip from Ohio where I picked up an AWD Ford Transit custom van. I traded in my 2013 cargo van.

This van will take us to Texas for two weeks. We leave Wednesday. I’ll take pictures of the interior after I rest up. I drove 1,340 miles in 33 hours.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Not yet. I want to this spring. It should sell for about what I paid for the van.

Have a good trip. Always nice to get away from the middle of a Wisconsin winter for a break.

It was nice just going to Ohio where it was 51F. Right now it’s 35 after an overnight low of 15. Last week it was -22F

I removed one of the passenger seats for the Texas trip and folded down the rear seat to make a bed. That’s an ice cooler at the foot of the bed.

It doesn’t have a wet bar but it has everything else a limousine would have.
