have owned 4 jeeps over the years and live ib snow country. 2 grand cherokees a wagoneer and a wrangler. The wagoneer on a 3/4 ton chassis with all cast iron running gear was the best in snow. Great in pulling out stuck vehicles with its creeper gear. The grand cherokees were next with the wrangler last. I always felt it was too light, wheelbase to short and skid plates a problem in deeper snow. Could be I was negligent in trying too much with it. Good off road as long as snow wasn't too deep. Son has a gladiator diesel and lives in northern Vermont. He put a set of heavy studded tires on it for winter and loves its performance.

Yes all my F350 diesels over the years were great in snow. But I’m not dropping $100k on a truck anymore. :)

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Under $50k. Be paid for before it’s worn out. :)

Image buster and I think Badger's feeling would be hurt.

If it’s good enough for Gumby and Pokey, it’s good enough for me and Badger.

I like the V-6 better than the 4 banger with the turbo

Are subaru outbacks big up there ? Have 3 4wd vehicles currently and outback is becoming the NH state car. Good clearance, great ride, good on snow , crashworthy, roomy and under $30k. Mileage average is 32mpg. With care supposedly will last 200k miles. Drive one, it has plenty of power. If I outlive this one I will buy another.
