I'm getting used to the GM OEM GPS ( :? ) .... it is accurate and once you get a handle on inputting where you want to go, it will get you there .... as to how it drives, its exceptional .... its ride is smooth, handling is outstanding, get up and go is remarkable, and fuel mileage is great .... I have owned "mussel cars" that couldn't hold a candle to the performance of its 3.8L V6 .... we have owned 2 other Camaros, the ride was too harsh for touring .... with its ride, I wouldn't hesitate to take off cross country

we most certainly didn't anticipate the way things started this morning .... our 6 year old grandson slept with us last night .... after breakfast we loaded him into Maureen's Camaro and took him to school .... shortly after dropping him off, see below !?!?!

haven't heard for sure but am pretty sure she's totaled .... we were both taken to the hospital and have both been released .... we were very lucky to have escaped any serious injury .... the soreness will pass quickly

Glad to hear that you're all well after that collision. Hope any others that may have been involved are also well. It could have had a much different report if it had happened just a bit earlier.

Glad you're OK. I would think that's it's definitely totaled. Looks like it's crumple zones did their job. Say what you will, modern cars are a lot safer since they started doing crash testing.

Indeed and I see deployed air bags too. Our automotive safety has come a long ways from no seatbelts and steel dashboards.

Jim and Maureen, glad you’re not injured but I’m sure your sore as all get out.

well, that didn't take long .... about an hour ago I got a call from a tow company that our insurance company had contacted them to haul the Camaro to a salvage yard .... as noted in several comments, the decision to total it comes as no surprise

Sorry for your loss of the car Jim but not surprised either. From the pics you posted, I was pretty sure it was a total.
Once again though, I'm sure glad you and Maureen are ok.

Always happy to find friends aren't injured in accidents. Glad the Grandson wasn't in the car. I drove a charger for a while as a patrol unit and when they asked who wanted the 4x4, I was quick to volunteer. Easier to get in and out of, and it was a tank. I trusted myself, but NOT everyone else.
