That's a lot of truck. Good choice.

Very nice. Lot's of room. We looked at luxury cars several years ago, none compared to the Titan in room and comfort.

Good luck with the new truck process Jim. I have a similar heavy winch from Harbor Freight. I bought a trailer hitch mount for it. I only used it for taking out the old dock at camp. Mounting it on the trailer hitch was pretty stable and convenient.
installing the winch with a hitch mount on our heavy equipment trailer is most likely the way we will go .... we've had that trailer for decades and have never needed a winch but one never knows .. ;)

I've never owned a Titan but have consistently heard very good things about them .... for our use, being able to tow a heavy 5er is a prime requirement

We can tow the tractor on the heavy trailer, but wouldn't try and tow a big camper or anything. It would easily pull the 16 kayak trailer, and STOP it. But it was an aluminum trailer. I wouldn't want to haul a really big tractor on a big fifth wheel trailer with the titan. Ours is a 2010 and still looks new, but we do all the maintenance and store it out of the weather, we DO use it as a truck, a 4wd truck. We used to take it into the middle of a 500 acre cattle farm to fish, fording creeks and driving thru pastures. Have pulled stumps and landscaping out of the ground.

Congratulations Jim. That's a great looking truck and looks very capable of what you need it for. Enjoy your weekend.

kind words appreciated .... the only issue so far is the fact that these new trucks are so tall that I can't get into or out of the bed of the truck .... similar Fords are the same way .... we were well aware that this would be a problem and have a few things in mind to help take care of it
