understood .... actually all to well understood .... for over 20 years we towed our current camper with a Freightliner Sportchassis .... as a couple of examples, its Mercedes diesel engine held 9 gallons of engine oil .... it got 8 to 9 mpg burning diesel fuel .... for us its largest plus was its ride .... on yearly 3,000+ miles to both Texas and South Dakota its ride made the traveling a pleasure, not a torture .... for us, that more than justified the expense
