Fired up the smoker tonight threw on some Pork Chops and beans. Smoked the chops for an hour. They came out great with a couple of glasses of red wine to celebrate Moeturs Coast Guard day. Salute

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

We decided to stay out a while longer hoping I -70 would open back up as thats our shortest route back home. So I found a place on the river at Silt,Co. Turns out to be a real nice spot. The wife loves it and I can see the Colorado river right out my back window.

Made it back home winding thru the 2 lane roads and a ride by the Black Canyon around Gunnison,Co. Lots of pulling thru that area but the ole Red dodge did a good job getting us home about 2pm yesterday. Got the 5er unloaded and did the Moetur wash job to the 38fter this am. Then took it back to its garage and parked it until Sept 23rd when we are headed to Creede for a week.

It was mostly 2 lane coming home Jim and let me just say that there are alot of people out there now pulling trailers and such around that have no business pulling one. We had a guy in front of us for a while with a GMC Dually newer one pulling one of those toy haulers. That guy was all over the road along with other things.

completely agree ..... during our current trip the number of folks pulling hard side campers with small SUV's continues to come as a surprise
