Totally agree about not having a repeat of the 2019 winter/spring weather pattern. It did challenge you to get to our KC Get-Together, and we were exceptionally water-logged in MO much too long!

.... in January of this year weather patterns began to form that brought major flooding .... as a result, we had to make major changes in our route out there .. :? .. sure hope that we don't run into any issues like that again ....

the impact on us was a matter of inconvenience but friends throughout the affected area tell us that it will take many years to clean up all of the damage .... the sheer size of the affected area is mind blowing

I’ve planned a lot of trips while on a trip. It just seems natural.

it works for us .... I'm curious, where is the rest area you took the picture of the statue of the Sioux woman .. :?: .. if you happen to be out and about in the area of Kansas City on August 18 - 21, a group of us from the forum plan to have a gathering and spend a couple of days on two different firing ranges .... we had a great time out there last year

This is one of my favorite rest areas. There may be a Lewis and Clark Expedition in my teardrop one day. Places like this rest area sure is encouraging such thoughts.

over the years we've talked about taking a trip based on the Lewis and Clark Expedition ... doing so isn't a minor undertaking ... one of the best itineraries we've seen can be found at this link ====> http://lewisandclarktrail.com/trailadve ... fguide.htm
