things are looking up ... ... my wife has made our first three site bookings .... first picture our site on Feb 1st .... second picture our site today .... third picture a lot we own in town on March 9th .... fourth picture the same lot today .... we are most certainly looking forward to getting back out there once again

just learned that our daughter and her 3 year old foster son will be flying in to join us in Estelline .. .. they will be there and attend this year's Rodeo.... last summer both of our sons flew their families out there and had a great time .... it will be a busy week for them .... in addition to the rodeo, he'll get to see a wide range of farm animals and equipment .... having him out there will be a great deal of fun ..

Tuesday, April 10, 2019 ===> heavy snow falling in Estelline as this is being typed .... they are calling for a 30" accumulation .... South Dakota State University is closed through Friday .... snow plows have been pulled off of the roads .... sure hope this is winter's last assault for the folks up there

Stay warm and dry

outside of pollen in the air, today at home in NC has been beautiful .... sunny sky, low humidity, temp in the mid 70's .... we are right at 8 weeks from being out there .... surely, winter will be a somewhat distance memory by then

happy to be in NC this morning .... pictures sent from near where we are slated to be in a few weeks .... the storm was just beginning

the areas shown in the pictures below didn't have any snow on the ground before the storm hit yesterday

Jim, I have to admire your attention to detail and trip planning! Sounds time consuming and difficult to me.
I do wish though that I was as equipped and used to such endeavors. Maybe would not seem as insurmountable then.
Maybe we can hook up again while you are at the KOA in Asheville.

sure hope we can .... as you can see from our itinerary in post 1 in this thread, we're booked in there for some time on the way out and on the way back
