Re: Halloween at Chesapeake
Jim, I always track on the carriers website, not Amazon. I have found in the past that they don't always agree.
I'm sure it's in transit and you might see that it has made progress tonite, closer to you.
Always nice when you see, ( maybe in the morning ), " out for delivery ".

the latest tracking info says its on its way to HAMPTON, VA .... they now show ===> "Scheduled delivery: Wednesday 10/14/2020 by end of day" .... Thursday they are calling for a sunny 75 degree with a 10% chance of rain .... hopefully, the install will go smoothly

Re: Halloween at Chesapeake
good news .... Amazon is showing that the replacement tank :
the package arrived at a carrier facility in Hampton, VA US at 7:12 AM
the package left that facility in Hampton, VA and is Out For Delivery
I do not plan to start removing parts on the truck that are required for the removal of the OEM tank and to install the replacement until I have it in hand and make sure it is the correct part

Re: Halloween at Chesapeake
well, the good news is, the clouds parted and moved on out shortly after noon .... the bad news is, FedEx still shows the replacement coolant tank is still shown to be delivered by 8PM but its now 8:30PM and no sign of it .... it was nice to be able to get out of the camper for several hours this afternoon .... the first couple of pictures are of our site .... our electrical hookups are all in place .... our Traveler smoker/grill is setup and ready go .... the tree shown below is close to our site .... its tall and had some dead branches at its top .... the bird shown has to have one heck of a view

Re: Halloween at Chesapeake
FedEx did show up with it but apparently, it was well after the campground cuts back for the evening .... I drove up to the office and picked it up about 9AM .... after allowing the truck's engine to cool, I removed the air filter and then the coolant tank .... doing so didn't require any great degree of mechanical talent but did require some thought about how to go about it .... as with most of my projects, there were 2 screws located so that they were not only difficult to get to but took a good bit patience to remove and later to reinstall .... the pictures below pretty much show the process .... in looking at them, they don't reflect the time and effort required .... a 40 mile round trip shopping drive later, all appears to be OK
