Thanksgiving 2023

Post by JEBar » Wed Nov 15, 2023 10:56 am

just curious as to how many of us plan to travel over Thanksgiving ?

we plan to make a 500+ mile round trip from home to Asheville, NC .... we hope to leave home Wednesday morning and head back home the following Friday morning .... this trip will allow us to spend time with family that we haven't seen since last Thanksgiving .... 4 of us will be taking Maureen's new Chevy Blazer on what will be its longest trip to date .... most of the drive will be over I-40 with a good bit of it having a 70 mph speed limit ... we are curious to see how it performs and what gas mileage it gets

I understand your incentive for making the trip. You can bet the traffic will be heavy. It's not so bad as long as it's moving. Hope you have a safe trip and enjoy that new Blazer.
happy thanksgiving!

No travel for us.

Thanksgiving is at our place this year with guests only traveling a few miles to get here. Safe travels to all you who are hitting the road this year. Around here the weather is looking great for travel.
