Mostly just the threads. The rusty ones don’t get a good seal.

When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn't become a king. The palace becomes a circus.

There is several videos on youtube that show guys doing this. I have one of those refill adapters but havent ever tried it. They say you need to put the small tanks in the freezer for a while before filling and then weigh them. Never have done it.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

as mentioned above .... years ago I rigged up a hose that runs from our camper's quick disconnect fitting to whatever appliance I'm using .... that setup has served us well for 20 some years and is still what we use when using our propane three burner camp stove ..... what I need is to come up with a setup to use when we are not near the camper while cooking .... my preference is not to be tied to hauling 20 or even 10 lb propane tank so the ease of using a 1 lb tank is attractive .... having just learned that our camping stove will freeze a 1 lb bottle requires me to have 2 or more on hand
