understood on the concerns .... so far, we haven't hit any places with a supply problem but they all most certainly have high prices .... have you seen any reports on areas where there are shortages :?:

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

after reading you post I did some checking .... shortages are most noted in the northeastern part of the country with isolated issues noted along the coast a bit below there .... once we leave home we will need to take on fuel twice .... once in Tennessee and once just east of KC .... no shortages are being reported in the area around where we will be in South Dakota .... that can most certainly change quickly

trip preparations continue .... basement storage has been rearranged and then rearranged again .... final packing of the camper's basement and other outside storage areas will be finished on Saturday or Sunday .... next will be cleaning out our truck so as to store some items and better organize others .... checking its oil and other fluids will take place Saturday morning .... our large Yeti cooler will be tied down on its rear carrier on Saturday or Sunday .... in short, nothing major going on, rather an ongoing list of "have to take care of" is growing smaller

Nice that you have done all this so many times that it’s routine. I know you keep a good list of tasks as we all need that as we get older but there’s nothing like repetition to really understand the task. Safe travels when you hit the road.

we are up and about on this departure morning .... we hope to get on the road around 9AM, history has taught us that its best to let the morning rush settle before we pull out .... today's drive is scheduled to be our longest of the trip .... about 400 miles and should take about 6 hours
