2017 Camp-Inn

Post by Sir Henry » Wed May 19, 2021 10:27 pm

Many of you have known me since I bought the 2007 Little Guy and traveled for months on end in it. I bought this one in 2017 but haven’t traveled or posted that much about it.

In April I took a trip to Deception Pass and posted a picture of the galley with the extra tables attached. This time I left everything at home and will be eating restaurant made food.

The inside is a lot more spacious than the Little Guy. This one has a sofa. I’m sitting in it as I type this.

Adding the carpet was a big help in keeping the cabin clean. The sleeping bag can be washed in my new washer so I’m not afraid to jump inside with my shoes on.

I still have about 50 more decals to add. I just need to find them.

That pretty cool. Nice sticker collection. On the roof above the doors there are some black plastic looking objects. Are these tie down points? Could a tarp be connected to the to create a small sheltered area outside the door in inclement weather?

Yes and yes. They are where the roof rack attaches. Few people use the roof rack but it’s also a point where a factory made side tent attaches. Many use them to attach simple tarps too.

You do a really nice job with your sticker placement and size proportion. That Mariners sticker on the left side sure sticks out. Go M’s... :D

As much as I like my big 5er I like those small teardrops to. They make alot of sense for alot of different reasons. Parking one is a piece of cake and if a guy needs to get in out of the weather it isnt that bad. If the weather prevents one from being outside the car will get you to a restaurant

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Camp-Inns were put in a wind tunnel with an Outback. When Subaru changed the Outback Camp-Inn changed the Raindrop.
