They still require the tag which few people actually use. Mine was the only one I saw in use.
first time I've knowingly seen a tag like that .... is it a special item .... if so , where do you get them
Everyone that has a visual tank gets one.

Hatchdog, WA State ferries in Puget Sound charge by overall length in 10 foot increments, but they do not actually measure…. The toll guy took one look at the white egg and wrote us up as under 40 feet, even though we were 44 feet. It saved us quite a bit. Rates vary by the crossing, this is for three of the Seattle routes, old data which is lower than current fares.

There are a few safety rules, unlike the Keller ferry which is very laid back. No more than 10 gallons total of combustible liquids (gas, propane) in EPA approved containers (my old NATO jerry cans were not legal so I left them at home), but they do not count propane carried in fixed RV tanks of any size. But you must shut off all appliances, and turn off and flag the gas valves, I used a red steamer of surveyors tape and told the toll guy.
Ollie’s are great double hull, high quality four seasons trailers, terrific for boondocking if specced with solar and lithium batteries, and sold factory direct only from TN, no dealer network; you can check out mine if you like. I am very active on their forum, here is the sales page.

I looked at their website and that’s a great looking rig. Well thought out floor plan working with the limited space available. Currently I’m going in the opposite direction, in 2019 we sold our 23’ single slide and bought a 26’ double slide. The 23 served us well for 12 years but those were working years so our trips were limited in number of days on the road. Now that we are retired we are taking longer trips and needed better floor and storage space. I do appreciate your and SirHenry’s trailers and your ability to tow with either a small SUV or as in your case a larger SUV.
Thank you both for your info regarding ferry crossing in Western Washington. Never done that but I might someday.

Pictures from the last few days. The park is really a small town and has many small town things like this movie theater. Across the street is a tavern and nearby is a hospital, church, laundry, gas station. Only a few are open for business. The gas station hasn’t pumped gas in 50 years. The good news is the tavern still serves beer.

Nice shots Gene. When I was in Texas on the gulf seeing those big freighters brought back memories of my childhood days on Puget Sound.

Thanks all. I’m now aboard the Puyallup heading home. This is where the Post Commander lived. It’s now a museum.
