Happy to hear you have landed at your destination. Sounds like other than the tire minder hassle your trip was trouble free.

my wife's family is very involved in Estelline's yearly rodeo .... it begins Friday and they put our 12 year old Grandson right to work in helping setup .... along with 2 stints in the town swimming pool, he road 50 miles round trip to take one of the town's school buses in for its yearly service and bring back another, worked on the rodeo, and is now making S'mores ... 8-)

its been a beautiful and fun day in Estelline .... a morning supply trip to Brookings went well .... our youngest son and his wife had flown in to Sioux Falls a bit earlier and we happened to meet then at the Walmart in Brookings .... various members of Maureen's family worked together to finish the setup for the Rodeo that opens tomorrow night .... 4 different levels of baseball were played on the field behind our camper today .... the corn and bean crops look good but its mighty dry .... no serious rain in the forecast and that's not good news

Jim just curious what kind of tire temps and pressures were you seeing in the hot part of your trip? When I brought my new trailer home it was 100 degrees. Our tires were filled to max pressure before we left. I saw tire pressures from 122 to 128 and temps from 131 to 140 by the time we reached our storage unit. We have G rated tires on this trailer as we did the last.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

ours were filled while we were in Texas to 100 psi when the temp was 60 some degrees.... with the temp in the mid to upper 90's when we left home, it was necessary to let some air out ... one of my mistakes was to guess at how much air I was letting out .... the highest pressure I remember seeing was 130 and the highest temp was 145

UPDATE :

this year the weather cooperated .... both Friday and Saturday night's Rodeos both went really well .... I'm not a big Rodeo fan but I thoroughly enjoyed both nights .... Sunday was spent watching softball and baseball games played in the city park behind our camper .... today the ladies took the kids to the Zoo in Watertown, SD .... family gathered for bratwurst, tonight its for burgers .... I've been fighting some sort of bug for the last 3 days .... hopefully, its starting to go away
