It's Daytime Dave's fault, he wouldn't take him to the beach.

Cool trip! I am glad that you had fun! I love the pictures and I have heard of that resort before. I think (?) that one of my old friends had a daughter who was married down there.

I always loved and still love beaches and the ocean and never tired of them or lakes, rivers AND good swimming pools. I love to swim and even though I don't own any sail boats and power boats as I did with my late husband... I still enjoy the WATER in any shape or form as long as it is not a flood!

I told my late husband and my Montana husband that my motto was and still is, "Have gun and swimsuit - will travel!"

Thanks for the pictures and I will show them to my husband.

I like the snow, cold weather and all of winter's beauty around me here as I did back east but the BEACH and OCEAN really look good right now to me. :)

My favorite seasons are the spring and fall although there is beauty in all four of them!

Cate, I live in Wisconsin, and I suppose our climate is probably not all that different than yours is in Montana. My favorite seasons are also fall and spring, and I think my least favorite part of Wisconsin's climate is that we often have very little spring.

Although I have lived here for most of my life, I did recently life for five years in Louisiana. There we had three seasons: fall, spring and oven. :)

The part I liked most was that instead of winter, we had endless fall, followed by beautiful springs. I miss that now that I'm back here, but I don't really miss the summers there.

I'm going to Florida in a coupla weeks, but it's interesting that even though I've been back here for a little more than two years, I no longer seem to have that "need" to go somewhere warm. Strangely, I've found I almost enjoy winter.

It was nice to get to a warm place in February. I had to snow blow a foot of snow out of the driveway last night when I got home from work.

I liked the atmosphere there. It seemed very easy going. I'll take an Adirondack lake or pond any day, but that was a nice experience.
