As for camping, Jim get yourself a little wedge tent.
- sets up in 5 min
- no running water so nothing to freeze up
- no harm done if you fall out of bed, you’re already on the ground
- everything you need fits on your packhorse including the wife if necessary
5 minute setup sounds good but my days of enjoying ruffing it passed several decades ago .... the last time I remember was a week spent hiking the Appalachian trail many decades ago .... now days, ruffing it is a Motel 6

our plans to move forward are starting to come into focus .... as has been noted, we have two short distance camping trips scheduled ..... I just got off the phone with the fellow who is going to buy our Sportchassis ..... we agreed for him to work with June 15th being the date we will be ready to let it go .... in a way, we aren't looking forward to seeing it go but in another way we do know that its time

today we formalized another step in our turning the page to a new era .... talk about coincidences, one took place today .... a week or so ago our oldest son mentioned to a friend of his that we are planning to sale our Sportchassis .... his friend asked him about the truck and expressed interest in seeing it .... this morning while we out and about our son called and said his friend would like to come by and see our truck .... he showed up shortly after noon .... while looking it over I told him about the mods I've made to the truck .... we went on a long test drive with him at the wheel over back roads and an interstate highway .... bottom line, we have a handshake deal for him to buy the truck during the last week in June .... that will allow us to make our last scheduled camping trip during the week of June 8 through 14 .... the coincidence comes in through the fact his friend's wife is one of my wife's doctors

Good timing to sell the truck. I’ll miss your travel adventures.
