These are mine. The bowie has a 10" blade. The folding one is 40 yrs old. My other bowie I'm not allowed to have until Xmas my son says.

Very nice indeed. I have a folder very similar to your. I'll have to see if it's a Schrade.

They are all very well made, good using knives. The new bowie I'm getting has a different blade profile, more of a true clip point bowie fighting knife.

Very nice collection, RR....especially the cool-looking fixed-blades.
Your next gift should be great fun!! Enjoy.

I think Schrade was made in USA at one time but maybe not now. Not sure. But they are full tang, hard use knives.

They are what Schrade calls "Staglon" which is nylon that looks kinda like stag. However the new bowie I will have soon has an actual stag handle. The nylon ones are VERY tough though and stand up to lots of abuse, but never look any different than new. 8-)

If I am correct, Schrade were made in NY State up until recently. Now I believe all are made in China. If anyone knows for sure, please chime in.
