TSD Logistics is a major, diversified transportation services company that operates throughout North America .... one of their services is offering a significant fuel discount price program to folks who purchase diesel fuel ===> https://www.tsdlogistics.com/services/fuel-program/ .... the larger number of folks they have buying fuel through membership in their program, the bigger discount they can negotiate for their company and the members of their program .... I have friends, who I trust, who are members and who vouch for it being an honest outfit that delivers as advertised .... since their fuel purchase card only works at truck stop, big rig pumps, it usually doesn't cover the purchase of gasoline ..... the program is offered in Canada but in reading the FAQ section in the link above, the size of the discount isn't usually as large .... we are signing up for this program but with our card being sent to our home and then forwarded to us in Texas, it will take a while for us to be able to start taking care of the discounts .... they do have a referral program, anyone interested may contact us by PM

in answer to a PM'd question .... you use the TSD card to buy your diesel fuel .... the next day the money is drafted from your bank account and you receive an email showing you the details of the transaction and our fees .... there fee is 10% of the savings per gallon .... So if the retail cost is $3.00 per gallon and our cost is $2.50 per gallon, your fee will be 5 cents per gallon. .... for the last 10 years we've used a very similar discount program through Good Sam .... we have a card that we insert at the pump at Pilot/Flying J truck stops .... the price we are charged is 8 cents a gallon off the listed cash price and they draft the money from our account on the first day of every month .... it has served us well but it appears that they average discount through TSD Logistics will be considerably more and its good at many more truck stops

When you get your card you will receive the link to pricing at all available stops and password.

we just got off of the phone with Joy Hanson, Chief Financial Officer of TSD Logistics Diesel fuel discounts ....apparently our application to their program disappeared into the Zenon Mist that surrounds the internet .. .. she was a delight to work with and I feel even more positive about her company and this program after speaking with her .... she's going to take care of getting us signed up so that we can start participating in their discount program ....

with us traveling, we chose to have our discount card mailed to the home of one of my wife's Aunts where we will be a week from today .... its about a 250 mile drive and with the fuel card waiting on us, we will only take on enough fuel to comfortably make the drive .... once we have the card we will decide where to fill our tanks

we now have the info surrounding our first purchase and have to admit, I'm impressed

first fuel purchased at the Love's Truck Stop near Willis, TX

we purchased 32.715 gallons

pump price $2.589 per gallon

purchase price shown on the pump after filling was $84.70

for this fuel purchase TSD charged us $58.69

this equals a savings of $26.01 or $.795 a gallon

today we purchased 75 gallons of fuel at the Love's Travel Plaza located at Alabama exit 158 on I-65 .... price at the pump $2.449 a gallon .... when TSD withdraws funds from our account, we will be charged $1.54 a gallon + 10% .... bottom line, we will save about 81 cents a gallon .... we continue to be well pleased with their program

we just got home from Texas and figured up our savings from using TSD's program on the return trip .... bottom line, we saved $157.95 ....

my wife tells me that all of the purchases we made for fuel while in and on our way home from Texas have cleared our bank account ... all were correct (down to the penny) .... in retrospect, we can only wish we'd of gotten involved in the program earlier

just received a notice from TSD that TA and Petro have rejoined their fuel discount program and will likely be the lowest price out of all of our vendors .... they have also added Kwik Trip and Kwik Star to their discount program with 10 cents off per gallon..... their current discount network is TA, Petro, Loves, Road Ranger, SAAP Brothers, Ambest, Kwik Trip and Kwik Star.

a bit of an update :

earlier today on our first day's drive from Home to South Dakota we topped off our tanks at the Petro Truckstop located at NC I-85/40 Exit 157 .... we took on 40 gallons of fuel .... using our TSD card we saved just over $30 .... our next scheduled fuel stop is day after tomorrow at Mt Vernon, IL .... by the time we get there we will need have traveled over 700 miles and need considerably more fuel

we took on over 60 gallons of diesel today at the Petro Truckstop located at I-57 & I-64, Exit 95, Mt Vernon, IL and saved a little over $30

today we took on 36 gallons at a TA located on I-70 east of KC in Oak Grove .... our cost was $1.631 per gallon .... it will take a bit of research but that may be the cheapest we have paid for fuel in our Sportchassis .... on that 36 gallons we saved just under $20

its been a while since we purchased fuel through this program .... earlier today we took on 45 gallons of fuel at the Petro Truckstop on I-95 just outside of Kenly, North Carolina along Interstate 95 .... the posted price for diesel was $2.359 a gallon .... our TSD price was $1.884 a gallon .... that's a savings of about $20 .... yep, we are still delighted with our fuel cost savings

yesterday on our way home from Virginia we took on 59 gallons of fuel at the Petro Truckstop on I-95 just outside of Kenly, North Carolina along Interstate 95 .... the posted price for diesel was $2.399 a gallon .... our TSD price was $1.847 a gallon .... our savings, just over $32 .... add that to the $20+ we saved on the drive up there, our savings for this trip was over $50 ....

during our current drive from home in NC to Texas we have scheduled a rest/fuel stop during each day's drive .... each stop will be at a truckstop that participates in TSD's Logistics Diesel fuel .... yesterday we took on 41 gallons at the TA Travel Center in Montgomery .... pump price $2.659 .... our cost $2.104 .... our savings $23.12 ....
