Personally not interested in purchasing a new rifle, however, when in my LGS this weekend, in their Henry case, they had a 38-55 and a 35 Rem side gates for $819.00. They always come down even more for cash.
BTW, he had about 30 Henrys in stock in a dedicated Henry display case. GREAT store.

YES, and that is no exaggeration. I took several picks on my phone which I will post as soon as I figure out what the problem is transferring them to the puter. Usually I just email them to myself, but that's not working. Probably the weak WIFI signal we're running off of.

Aaaah! Thank you ED. forgot I sent that to you. Took about 5 or 6 more around the gun department. Maybe I'll text them to you, if you don't mind, and you can post them. It is an impressive store! A G.eneral store at that. You can get anything you want there, from boots and clothing, to food.

Really nice store! Most I've seen in one place is the local Coastal Farm store.

Lots of Henrys! Someone likes Henrys. I guess it gives someone lots to choose from. They seem to be solid rifles. So, it may be hard to make a bad choice.
