It has, and the neighbors are cutting their lawn. I'm just not ready yet. I don't have much to cut (1.5 acres) but it's a bumpy ride for that 1.5 hrs😒

.
I cut the 'far side' lawn this afternoon. Most of it was dry enough to mow through just fine. The spongee spots were solid enough to gun it and power through, though there are spots where the mower kinda power-drifted slightly sideways. That's always fun!

I mowed the 1.5 acres today. The grass had grown a lot, and turned green overnight. That rain must of picked up a lot of nitrogen.

Just a little bit actually. The wind dried it all up, and the grass too.

Way to muddy here, heck the yard is like walking on a sponge.
then right around mid day it started raining again.
Quite hard there for a bit.

That's last spring, we are about a week or so from that point now.
The maples and the rest have their leaves. The river birches and fruit trees in the rear as well.
Just waiting for the buds on the azaleas to bloom.
Miss T says a week or so...

dogwood blossoms are shedding like snow and azaleas are starting to look drab in our part of central NC .... a brief thunderstorm just moved through, hopefully we had enough rain and wind to settle the tree pollen .... its a beautiful time of year but with the pollen, I'll be glad when summer rolls in
