Mowed the lawn for the first time this year, with the back up mower

I mowed the lawn for the first time this year. Mid to late April is the usual time. It was a pretty early Spring here. Leaves are popping out of the trees, the grass was lush and growing and the garden is still half soggy from ground water.
I had to use the back up mower, my White 1855. I bought it for keeping the trails in the pasture good, but this Spring, it pulled main lawn duty. My X758 was dropped off at the John Deere dealership for it's annual service. There were MANY other lawn, garden and tractors there for service when I got it there. I suspect a month will be what it takes to get a call that it's ready. It's worth it, as all I have to do is get it serviced at the dealer and the warranty is doubled.
Well, the White did a pretty good job this afternoon. Not as quick or as well groomed as the John Deere, but not too shabby, considering what I gave for it.
Oh, by the way, the X758 got paid off this month, so the new tractor was ordered. You really can't go wrong with 0% financing.
