This is a view of the North Pasture... we used to have it cut for hay. It's just ten acres or so and we had to have it cut in small round bales or square baled. Because of the pond and the creeks, they can't get the big equipment in here, and because it's such a small area, they don't want to travel far. The guy who used to cut it had equipment problems... his tractor died. He didn't tell us and Tina had to bush hog the field with the Hay Standing, then recut the hay on the ground to keep it from killing the pasture.
Since she couldn't find anyone else to do the small stuff, we just ordered a new piece of equipment for the tractor, a finish mower. We'll groom all the fields and make them look pretty.

We'll still bushhog under the trees in the areas around the barns and the coops to keep the snakes down, and down the fence lines to keep them clear to access with the UTV to check them.

We like to keep things looking decent. The 6' finish mower should be here in a couple weeks.
