My Allis-Chalmers Model B stood out in the cold and snow last winter. Today she is getting a new cover.

These pictures were taken about a year ago. And these were taken yesterday. Currently the new Branson is covered but will be exchanged for Alice. You can see her above the welcome sign on the left. The backside is fala red like the house and RVport. I chose white on the inside so the old gal will be more prominent.

I can see the smile on the old Alices face

Alice is finally home again.

Don't forget take that cute couple sitting on the Allis this winter. They look kind of cold covered with snow.

I found a mouse living in them when I moved the tractor.

I would say the mouse was not just smart but cultivated.

I was raised on a B Allis Calmers. We raised watermelons, peanuts, corn and had a big garden. Had all the implements including a mule walking cultivator modified to fit for plowing close around watermelons. Your tractor brought back a lot of good memories.

Glad she could do that for you. She even has the tracks for it.

Now that you have that nice cover for Alice, time to have her repainted.

Next spring/summer. I was able to get all the decals for her.

I put some signs up on the port. I hope to buy a bunch of pumpkins, corn stacks and bales of straw to decorate for fall. I’m thinking of having a farm mural painted on the whit wall. You see this side leaving. I migh have a ‘come back real soon’ sign made for it.

The trash barrel is a nice touch and your ideas on painting both the inside wall and the rear facing are great! People will get a kick out of the “come back real soon” message.

Alice with a few more decorations. I still need corn stocks and straw.

I am thinking a vintage Coke or Pepsi logo with one those cute ladies holding a bottle with the saying underneath.

Alice looks right at home there.

Alice turned showgirl! These are commercial grade solar lights. They are on bright and not intended to stay on continuous. At 30% they are dimmer but will last all night. If I get one for each post they will be this bright and stay on all night.

Looks great Gene. I bet folks passing by will appreciate the look.
