Nice plot. Ours is much smaller, but there are only the two of us. The dog doesn't like veggies.

Pictures of the squash when they where growing. There’s some peppers to but can’t see them. Picked 23 more squash yesterday for a total of 119 in last 2 weeks.

Nice lookin garden, makes my back hurt just lookin at it.
We used to do a big one, but now it's just a few tomatoes, which I'm just getting in the ground.
Then usually a little squash, cucumbers, and a few peppers, none of which has happened this year.

Know what you mean about back. I been downsizing for several years now. Actually my garden is the fenced in part with the peas in the first pics I posted. My SIL asked if he could plant a few hills of squash and peppers. A few hills turned out to be 24 squash, 18 peppers, about 100 onions. Him and daughter both know I ain’t going to sit back and not take care of it.

Beautiful garden. You should be proud of it.

Nice. With our cool spring this year it will be August before I have any tomatoes to eat. Last year was the complete opposite, way too hot.

I have 2 Dixie reds and 1 Bella Rosa plants. Them 2 above are Dixie reds. First time planting them. Wife will probably be eating one today. Find out how good they are. I don’t eat tomatoes.

Too bad you don't like tomatoes. There's nothing like a fresh mater sandwich in the summer with cool mayo and a sprinkle of garlic salt.

Your lucky, my Lab loves them and self feeds from the garden, eats just about all summer veggies apart from peppers and root vegetables.

Nice garden graywolf would certainly keep you busy.

I'm probably just one of a few that don't eat tomatoes. Love my ketchup though. Lots of folks have some fun when they find out I don't eat them.

First pea picking for this season. 6 bags in the freezer.

The peas are hanging. Looks like we will be picking peas again tomorrow afternoon.

To hot and tired and hurting to take a picture, but picked (6) 5-gallon buckets of peas yesterday afternoon. A bucket per row. Shelled til midnight last night and will probably take rest of this morning to finish.

Tina's garden was planted in the old chicken run, well protected from both the four legged predators and those with wings. Turned out to be a curse when all the plants came in lush and full as she planted too much, too crowded. They didn't get enough but shaded each other. She finally went in and pulled out every other row.

It might work, or it might not. Next year she will only plant beans and tomatoes.
