I ran over this steel bar today. I’ve mowed maybe 50 times in the last 3 plus summers and never hit it before. It’s about an inch across and ten inches in visible length. No damage to the mower but I bet the blade is dull.

Good thing there is no damage to the mower. Blades are reasonably cheap to replace. I've hit invisible rocks that cost me a blade.
