Down here on the Red River in Cooke County, we run the gambit of Blackland prarie on the east side to orange clay in the middle and winding up on the limestone caprock that goes all the way up to Amarillo. That orange clay can put a death grip on just about any vehicle. A winch, chains, and large John Deeres are always your best friends.
