Day one was the tractor with the 3 point rotary cutter. This works great for the level open areas. But there are some pretty steep places and some tight areas where the tractor doesn’t work well. Also I used the rider mower to clean up the driveway and gate area.
Day two was the quad pulling the tow behind mower deck. This works great and is much more safer on the steep areas plus more maneuverable in tight areas. Also up in the timber I have several trails that the tow behind does a great job of mowing. Otherwise the brush takes over and the trails will disappear. I also used the rider again to tow a sprayer to apply vegetation killer to the driveway.
Two long days between the mowing, driving up and back and loading and unloading equipment on the trailer. I’m bushed (pun intended)
