Side-Loader Woes

Hi all,
I've got a video review of a brand new side-loading rifle (H024-35) coming out soon. The review was going great right up to the point where I started shooting. The first thing I noticed is the sights were WAY off. As in about 10" low and 7 aches right from a distance of 50 yards. I had to move the elevator to the next to the last notch to get the proper elevation for that distance. The next issue was the accuracy which was less than stunning (4" give or take at 50 yards). Lastly, the rifle was routinely (but not every time) failing to eject the fired case. I used 2 different types of factory ammunition (Hornady and Remington). Has anyone else experienced problems with these rifles, or did I just get a Friday afternoon gun?
