Fun pic of a few lever guns

Post by Hatchdog » Wed Jul 29, 2020 4:43 pm

Here’s a pic of my modest lever gun line-up. Used to have a pretty extensive Marlin collection but slowly sold it off. Now to start collecting some Henry’s.

A pair of Big Boys bracketed by a pre-64 M/94 and a JM 39-A.

Nice collection. Is that a Ruger on the right?

Actually Mark, there's one missing in that photo. :o
My ole Winchester 92 in 25-20 was at the gunsmiths getting the barrel changed. ;)

I guess I'm in good shape for now, but
Hey I would adopt another, for the right price.

Huh.... I like this whole idea of 'lever gun adoption'. It might help smooth things over next time I bring a stray home!

Maybe just a little ammo. ;)
You didn't say anything about that ole ugly Savage picked up on the cheap, a couple days back.

Great line ups guys, love the lever porn!

Here in the Republic of Washington State the west side (and Spokane city here in the east side) passed a new law a year ago requiring extensive back round checks to purchase semi auto rifles (including for example Ruger 10/22’s) with a minimum 10 day wait period. Since then I have not purchased a handgun or semi rifle since but have purchased a semi shotgun and two lever Henry’s. Fill out the paperwork, pass the NCIS check and walk out the door with your purchase.

Something to be said for old school! :D

Cofisher,

Yes, that’s a Ruger Mini-14 disguised as an M1-A. Nice spot on your part!

Since it’s not a Henry and this is the Henry topic I added some conversation and pictures here:
