Henry service

Post by leverjc » Mon Jul 06, 2020 10:54 am

I sent my BBS to Henry a month ago to have the barrel replaced and have not had any response except that they have received it. Does anybody have an idea what the response time is now that they are backed up because of the china virus.

there have been some reports that with the closings related to the virus, there has been a slowdown in turnaround .... have you tried calling or emailing their customer service and asking :?:

You might also try following the link they gave you to check status. Last time I did mine I had no idea its was on a return trip as they didn't email me when it shipped.

Looked at their tracking link this morning and it was the same then I looked at it just now and they have sent it. I am impressed, even with the china bug they are quicker than most gun makers. I am looking forward to see what they did and if it is fixed.

Good deal glad that paid off for you. There should be a work sheet in the box that will tell you what they did.

Sent my H012X in for a feed problem near the end of June and got it back a week and a half later. I'm sure shop time depends on the nature of the problem. My rifle only required a few parts replacements. No email to let me know when it was on the way. Looks like the best way to get an idea on what's going on is to check the status link every couple of days. But once UPS got it, only took a couple of days to get it back.

When I bought my Model X from an online store it was sent without the barrel thread protector. Spoke with online store and they refunded me a small amount as they did not have the part. I called Henry in hopes to purchase this part. I spoke with Kala and asked if i could buy this piece and she told me that Henry would send me one out asap at no charge. Always nice dealing with a really good Company as Henry is. Great customer service.
