I know not everyone is an NRA member, but I still am.
For those interested, just received my October issue of American Rifleman and one of the featured articles is Henry Lever-Actions.
Pretty interesting!

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

After having read it, I wondered if it was a reprint. None of the 'new models' from the past 2 or more years are in the article.
(This in my 4000th post).

I read the article about the side loader and I have a good question I might have to field to Henry for an answer however.
Why is/was the front sight designed as a one piece style and not dovetailed?
If a dovetailed ramp can be had then not so much of problem but if not this will make sight replacement more difficult if it is a proprietary design.

Thanks for links to the articles! I didn't see a notification...I went straight to the thread, that must have "marked it as read"?

They were also several months behind because of no mention of the side loaders and the 38-55.

The new article only covers their main (traditional?) products.
Some additional articles that cover the newer models
