Henry doesn't even have the new single shots in the stores yet and I want a special one.
Brass, long octagon barreled, 45/70 version similar to the H+R Buffalo Classic. Lyman 20 front globe sight. I'm torn on rear sight. A vernier sight on the tang would be sweet. But on a break open gun I'm thinking the sight should probably be on the barrel. That way opening and closing the gun would have no effect on the sights.
Straight style stock with a recoil pad. Let face it this is a bench style gun so recoil pad is needed in this caliber.

Re: New wish!
that style rifle in 45-70 will need all of the recoil suppression that can possibly be built into it .... I'm a big 45-70 fan but can't help and wonder just how big of a market there would be for a single shot bench 45-70
Re: New wish!
It wouldn't be hard to make, though. I'd like to see a half round/half octagonal barrel about 24", maybe with some engraving, chambered in some other classic rimmed cartridges. They could probably spin out quite a few variants with little retooling. But first, they have to get out the basic models
