I have been looking for an all weather 45-70 for a while. My local gun shop cannot find one at any of his distributors. So I decided to email Henry. I know Anthony was at the recent NRA show so he would be back logged in emails. But never the less he answered on Thursday of this week and said he would in fact assist my local gun shop in getting one. If anyone here has ever done this and could share there experience along the way Im curious. If not I will keep you all informed of how this goes. Al

Re: What next
no surprise whatsoever that he responded .... last year I wanted a BB357 with large loop and custom serial number .... I emailed him and he came back with an immediate response .... he had a rep contact me, I gave him the info and the name the dealer we purchase from .... they took care of everything and a short time later we picked up the rifle that was a birthday gift for our grandson
Re: What next
That is impressive! You just don't hear about that kind of response anywhere else.

Re: What next
When I inquired last year about the 1860 in 45C he emailed back right away and said he'd help get it to my dealer. If it wasn't for the crappy exchange rate I'd have one.

Re: What next
Just to update this thread I just received an email from my gun shop that my Henry all weather is there and ready for pickup. Im excited to get it and the shop owner was very impressed with the gun in general. While waiting for mine to come in I have seen some come and go. Most recently and I believe its still being bid on there is a used one on there for sale and the current bid is 870.00. I couldnt believe the bid was that high. My new one came in at 799.00. Go figure. Al

It would be quite cool, if DanAtHenry were to chime in and give us an update on production and shipping status of the latest new Henrys. He'd definitely be in-the-know!
Seems like quite a few Henry Folk are looking and waiting.....
I'd guess that HRAC is maybe backed up with the demand for Henrys this year.JCN wrote:I really thought they'd be in by now as well....JNG3 wrote:I'd just be happy to see the new single shot rifles and shotguns at dealers!!

I had the same response from Anthony last summer. I was looking for a H010CC. For three months, my dealer could not locate one. I sent the email and had the gun in a couple of weeks. What a great company.
Oh, congrats on your new all weather. I bet she is a beaut!

Re: What next
The only thing I might add here is that if you viewed the recent Henry video where Anthony did the facebook live show he did mention they have under estimated the demand for certain rifles. I dont know this for a fact but I would think that if that demand is so high it could delay releases of the newer models. I waited a month for this all weather but Im not complaining at all Im glad to be able to finally get one.
